展览名称：《东城西就》文芳个展
毕业于巴黎路易·卢米埃尔国家高等艺术学院摄影专业，同时又是一位书法老师的文芳，曾常常徘徊于北京的老城区，寻找历经岁月侵蚀且早已风化的墙。她作品中的这些墙，近似绘画，见证了中国历经沧桑的历史变迁。
除此之外，她用具有讽刺意味的方式将一些农民工的肖像印在了砖头上，质朴地笑着盯着我们，同时也在警醒我们他们正在用自己的血汗构筑中国现代化的未来。
文芳的展览表达了对农民工的敬意。存在于中国历史长河里默默无名的角色，正尝试去调和过去几千年继承下来的文化传统和和令人眼花缭乱的现代化社会之间的矛盾。人们仿如过眼云烟，墙却留了下来，但能留多久？
Accomplished calligrapher and graduated of the National Film, Photography and Sound Engineering School (ENS) of Louis-Lumière in Paris, Wen Fang has paced the old districts of Beijing, looking for weathered walls. Her pictures of these walls, close to paintings, are witnesses of Beijing’s continual historical transition.
As well as this, her ironical photographs of real estate advertising are layed on shelves of a supermarket. Lying on the floor, portraitures of migrant workers, printed on bricks, stare at us and interrogate us about the future of the modern China they are literally building...
Wen Fang’s exhibition pays homage to workers, anonymous actors constructing history, who exist in a China juxtaposed, searching to reconcile the culture and tradition of the past millenia with its dazzling modernisation. Men come and go, walls stay...….. but for how long?
文芳，1976年生于中国北京。
毕业于法国巴黎路易.卢米埃尔国家高等艺术学院L’Ecole Louis Lumière摄影系。
2005年受法国大使馆委托，为中法文化年多项活动负责摄影工作。
曾出版摄影志《东京新鲜人》、设计画册《中国网站设计前线》。
现生活于北京。
