欧阳春是时下媒体所关注的众多“70后”新星代表之一，他因作品的高价而受瞩目，并开始与其他“70后”艺术新秀们亮相国际艺术市场。
近来，已有一些国际艺术市场观察家们认为年轻艺术家的价格飚涨得荒唐，有关“艺术市场泡沫”的讨论自2006年春拍后便已经展开。
一方面是对现阶段学术界、市场领域激烈争论的回应，一方面为顺应欧阳春个人的发展历程，星空间此次汇集了欧阳春十年生活中的近千件作品，构成了欧阳春的新个展“璀璨”。
欧阳春为本次展览持续工作了10年多：超过1000个小型镶框作品，展现在画布、相纸、碎片及各类日常生活物品之上。每一幅都独立且完整，荟萃在一起，它们组成了一件介于装置与绘画之间的生动有趣的作品。
展览将于11月18日-1月5日举行，所有小型镶框作品都将以便宜的价格（几百元起价）现场出售，如果你感兴趣，就会拥有“璀璨”的一部分，我们想要的是让欧阳春的艺术与更多的人分享。所以这里不再会是路易·威登阶层和投资商的专场。
同名画册《璀璨》将于展后发行，书中精选欧阳春进行绘画创作以来的一百多幅油画作品。如此丰富的作品面前，你一定会对一个通过自我教育才并致力为丰富艺术群体做贡献的年轻艺术家有新的认识。

Ouyang Chun’s “Luminescence”
--- a thousand small pieces
Ouyang Chun is one of the "post 70s" that are popping up in the fashionable Chinese media and often noted for the high prices that he and other Post 70s artists are fetching on the international art market.
Recently, some international observers have called the prices for such young artists outright ridiculous. The "art market bubble" debate has been brewing since the spring 2006 auctions.
In response to all this media attention and discussion, and in tune with OYX's history as a self-taught painter and his desire to contribute to a more abundant art community, star gallery brings to the arts community “Luminescence.”
This is a work that he has been working on for more than 10 years: over 1,000 little framed paintings, each painted on canvas, scraps of photographs, fragments of paper or ephemera. All are neatly framed, of varying sizes and dimensions, but each one a complete–albeit tiny–work of art. Pieced together they are an infinitely absorbing work of art, lying somewhere between installation art and painting.
The entire collection (to date) will be installed in star gallery from November 18 until January 5. It will be fragmented and sold as individual pieces at affordable prices (starting from a few hundred Yuan). By splintering the work into a thousand shards of brilliance, everyone have a piece of the whole, own a work of art OYX, and make art a part of everyone's life, not just something that belongs exclusively to the Louis Vuitton toting class, or art investors.
Shortly after will release the book of the same name, “Luminescence” including more than one hundred oil paintings that span his entire career. When his work is seen in abundance you can begin to appreciate him in a new way ……
